Award-winning singer-songwriter Hannah Cameron celebrates the release of new single Arm's Length at her long-time local The Railway Hotel on October 23.

A yearning, unflinching look at avoidant attachment from the side of the one left at a distance, Arm's Length finds Cameron reckoning (as she often does) with the bits that don't get all the light.

Written during a 2024 songwriting class with Adrianne Lenker and produced with longtime collaborator Leigh Fisher, the song explores the experience of avoidant attachment through the lens of the recipient, carried by Cameron's signature fingerpicking and the intricate harmonies she's become known for. 

After a sold out five week residency earlier this year, Cameron will combine pedal steel and witch mode to create a dream quartet featuring Matt Dixon (pedal steel), Georgie Darvidis (vocals) and Grace Robinson (vocals) for a special one off show in this format. 

Based in Melbourne, Cameron has built a career in the liminal spaces of modern life. With three acclaimed studio albums to her name, including the Australian Music Prize-nominated Holding Pattern, she has earned airplay and praise across Triple J, Double J and Rolling Stone, amassed millions of streams, and performed everywhere from Meredith Music Festival to the Palais Theatre. She's also a sought-after session musician, touring with The Paper Kites, Missy Higgins and Ruby Gill.
